“Never be ashamed of your mother”, the lesson from a woman to a teenager that has made us cry 2026

The television program “Wonderful People” is broadcast on Canal Sury and conducts social experiments using a hidden camera in which it tests people's reaction to unfair situations. If a while ago the reaction of a girl who wanted to defend a classmate who was being “attacked” for having two dads left us speechless, now we have been shocked by the lesson that a woman gives to a teenager who is ashamed of her mother and humiliates her for working as a cleaner.

First of all, it must be said that both the teenager and her supposed mother are actresses who receive instructions from a earpiece to play the role and that the place chosen for this hidden camera is a store where both actresses go to look for clothes for their daughter's graduation. At one point, the daughter begins to tell her mother that she does not want her to go to her graduation, since she is ashamed of her for being a cleaner and fears that she will make a fool of herself in front of her classmates' parents or expose her. This situation does not leave the rest of the store's customers indifferent and one of them begins to reproach the teenager for her attitude and tell her that what she should feel towards her mother is pride in the effort she makes to support her. However, there is another client, a woman named Estrella, who decides to act in the face of the unfair situation and reproach the girl for her attitude directly and loaded with emotion, in such a way that she manages to make the teenager, breaking out of her character, break down and burst into tears.
