How to make a Christmas centerpiece with a pool churro 2026

In terms of recycling and use, there is nothing like diving into social networks to see crazy ideas. As crazy as, suddenly, they have found an unexpected and very wintery use for the typical colorful pool churro. The one that is in every house and that serves as entertainment or as a learning tool for our children in the aquatic environment in summer.

And a Facebook post has already gone viral explaining how to transform this churro into a wonderful Christmas decoration. The idea is from Angélica Marotta, from the Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Australia group.

Huffington Post has reproduced the steps to follow, according to what she herself shared with the rest of her followers. The same ones are these:

• Pierce the churro with a rod or wire to prevent it from bending
• Glue the Christmas balls with a little hot silicone
• Fill the gaps in the balls with flowers and other Christmas decorations
• Sprinkle with artificial snow or glitter (we recommend the second option, since some artificial snow discolors the decorations).

The result should look like one of these photographs that Daily Mail has recovered from the group in question:

Other Christmas ideas with pool churros

Although this center is the one that has gone viral in recent days, it is not the only Christmas idea with churros that is circulating on the internet.

An example of this is this wonderful Christmas wreath that we can put on the front door of the house. To make it, all we have to do is close the churro in a circle and glue many balls and decorations with a little silicone until it is completely covered.

Another one that we have been seeing for some years is taking advantage of it to create a giant Christmas club. How? Lining the churro with fabric or painting it with white paint and adding some red stripes. Here the result:
