Be careful with the products we bathe the little ones with! 2026

One of the toys that are causing the most sensation among the little ones are the well-known Hatchimals. It is a plastic egg that must be cared for to discover the virtual pet inside.

Thanks to its fame, a lot of products from the line have gone on sale and, among them, some bath balls that when dissolved reveal the surprise inside. Another bestseller among children that could be about to end.

Jennifer Renee, an American mother, has reported through her Facebook account that her little girl is suffering from chemical burns apparently caused by the use of one of these bath bombs. The message has already gone viral.

On December 8, she wrote a post in which she said that her little girl had suffered burns after using this product in the bathtub and, in addition, she illustrated it with images.

"Don't buy this for your kids! I thought this bomb would be fun for her because it had a toy in it. I followed the directions on the package and placed it in the bathtub. After the girl was in the water for 35-40 seconds, she started complaining because her skin hurt. I saw that she had a chemical burn from a children's bath bomb. (She wasn't holding it and she's also used other types of bombs and this has never happened to her.) Just a warning."

Furthermore, he later updated this first post after contacting the manufacturer and going to the doctor (who told him it was a burn and not a reaction).

"My daughter has had this type of product before. I have spoken to the manufacturer and the lot number is being investigated because it seems that there are many calls reporting the same problem (not all with the reaction she had). It is very easy for a person who works in the factory to accidentally alter the ingredients. I went to the doctor this morning and he told me that, indeed, it is a chemical burn and not a reaction. I am posting this in the hope that everyone will keep a close eye on it. All children love bombs. bathroom but, lesson learned, from now on I will choose only natural products."
