With so many apps for children on offer, it's easy to get lost. Which one do we download? Nowadays there are educational games that seek to combine the best of apps with traditional games. Are we missing the definitive children's application on our tablet or smartphone?
An attempt was made to answer this question in the VIII edition of the “El Chupete” Children's Communication and Advertising Festival. The blogger Álvaro Varona, head of design at QDQ Media, ventured to write down his 10 favorite apps for children. This is the list:

8.- Art of glow. Beautiful drawing application with glow and configurable animations. For Android and Apple.
7.- Paper. The best writing sensation brought to iPad. Write and draw in a notebook with totally realistic strokes and save your notebooks. Apple
6- iCuadernos by Rubio. Rubio's authentic notebooks of operations, writing and problems carried with total fidelity to the iPad.
5.-Toca Doctor. All the apps from the Swedish company Toca Boca are true works of art. Careful drawings and surprising puzzles to learn to be a doctor. For Apple.
4.-In your hands. A Mapfre app to learn road safety education in a fun way. It allows you to try a simulator to learn how to drive a moped. For Apple.
3.-Toontastic. Chosen as one of the best apps of 2011. Create your own story by choosing characters, dialogues, music, narration. Apple.
2.-Kindle. No matter how many years go by, the book can continue to be a child's best friend. The Amazon app connects the book reader with the smartphone and the tablet, keeping the reading at the same point from either of them.
