St Patrick's Cathedral Dublin

Along the route you will discover different places such as Trinity College, St. Patrick's Cathedral, O'Connell Street, Phoenix Park or the Guinness factory, where the little ones will be amazed by the machinery and manufacturing process of their parents' favorite drinks.

Merrion Square Park, an essential stop on a trip to Ireland with children

Dublin offers a wide variety of green places, among which we highlight three parks to explore and enjoy with children.

Merrion Square is located in the center of the city, and offers various children's play areas, in addition to being able to enjoy different buildings full of architectural and historical interest, such as the Government Houses, the Senate, the National Gallery, the National Museum of Archeology or the Museum of Natural History.

Phoenix Park will amaze children

St Stephen Green Park is located near Grafton Street, and is one of the favorite parks for Dubliners. Full of green areas and small lagoons, the little ones will delight playing soccer, running or simply watching the seagulls and swans that populate the park. And finally, Phoenix Park, considered the largest park in Europe, is a must-see if you want to relax and forget about everything. Located on the outskirts of Dublin, it is ideal to rent a horse carriage and enjoy a quiet walk visiting each of its corners. Furthermore, within the same park you can visit the Dublin Zoo, which is always an activity that children really like.

Dublinia, the Viking Dublin, a mandatory stop with children

Finally, you can visit Dublinia, an exhibition that recreates Dublin's Viking historical past. Through different galleries you will learn about Viking Dublin, medieval Dublin and the Hunters of history. Offering the possibility of trying on the clothes of the time and visiting the houses in which they lived.

Giant's Causeway Route in Northern Ireland

An essential destination during a trip to Ireland with children is the Giant's Causeway Route in Northern Ireland.

One of the most emblematic and curious landscapes in Northern Ireland. The coast is made up of more than 40,000 hexagonal columns, which were formed by volcanic eruptions thousands of years ago. A unique terrain that allows you to discover the greatness of nature. In addition, its entire coast is full of routes and paths to follow and discover places such as the Carrick suspension bridge, Dunluce castle or the Gobbins trail.

Belfast, another essential on a trip to Ireland with children

A city with great historical content, which will serve as a lesson, for both parents and children, about the transition and growth of this beautiful city.

• The walls of Belfast are a good start to the trip, through their murals you can discover the traditions of the city, the recent history of the conflict in Northern Ireland or the sporting and cultural milestones of the country. We recommend you get into a black taxi and discover them with the lessons and anecdotes that the drivers know perfectly well. On the other hand, the Ulster Museum is an excellent opportunity to continue discovering the history and prehistory of the city, throughout its exhibitions of geology, European art, crafts or see the skeleton of the extinct giant deer of Ireland or the famous Egyptian mummy of Takabuti.
