A school in France asks that children not be thrown over the fence if they arrive late 2026

There are things in life that seem to be quite logical. If a child spends a lot of time getting ready in the morning, it is quite likely that he or she will be late for school. Surely many parents can relate to that feeling of having to deal with morning stress and make sure their children wash, get dressed, eat breakfast and don't forget anything important at home. Time is not always perfect!

What also seems to be related to the world of logic is that even though you may not arrive on time, what you should not do is throw your child over the center fence. Yes, although it seems the least coherent thing that can be done, this is what has been happening in a school in France. To such an extent that they have had to put up signs informing them of the risk it may pose to the little ones.

This is the Trillades College in question and is located in the French city of Avignon. The regulations indicate that the doors close at 8:30, but it seems that some parents, faced with the impossibility of staying with their children, have the idea of throwing them through an entrance gate no more or less than a few meters high.

As La Provence reports, this situation was becoming a real problem, to such an extent that they were forced to post signs warning parents not to do something that could be so dangerous.

The posters, in addition to showing a drawing of a father throwing a child as if it were a ball, also include warnings such as: “Do not throw children over the fence” or “When you arrive late, come back at 10:00 or 15:00.”

According to Sanaa Meziane, the school director, told the British media The Times, “parents who arrive after the bell rings literally throw their children away.” That is why they have decided to make this decision as a preventive measure, hopefully it will serve as retraining and, of course, to avoid accidents.
