Guille's story 2026

In the year 3020, two galactic super warriors were returning home after a tough battle against a very powerful invader that threatened to destroy their planet. They had won, yes, but their return was not being easy.

As a result of the fighting, the planet's defenses had been severely affected and these two brave warriors had had to leave many of their companions behind.

They flew propelled by the mechanical wings of their space suits, exhausted but happy to be able to return home. They were eager to see their families, hug them and celebrate with them that they had achieved it, that they were finally safe.

They could already see solid land when suddenly they noticed that something was wrong. The thrusters began to fail, the gas reserves had reached their limit and they began to plummet at full speed. They immediately activated the emergency parachute system, made up of 14 colored threads intended to save their lives.

While Guille was suspended in the air, he watched in horror as Guzmán plummeted into the void without having managed to activate his parachute.

When Guille landed, he was so devastated that he felt he would not be able to continue his journey. He thought of all his companions who had fallen in battle, each of them with their own story. His departure left millions of broken dreams, ruined future plans, families and friends without consolation.

The entire planet would forever feel the absence of its brave fighters. He was so immersed in these thoughts that Guille did not notice how a small squirrel approached him and began to chew on the strings of his parachute. Once she had finished, she asked him in surprise:

- What's wrong with you? Can't you walk?

Guille looked at her surprised by her presence and answered:

- I don't want to, I'm very tired. - What do you mean you don't want to? Get up man, it's a beautiful day.- I can't take it anymore, I'm alone and the way back home is very long.- Alone? I'll accompany you! Where are we going? - I live in the Big City, but now I don't have the strength to take the road. - Of course, you've probably skipped lunchtime. Come on, come, I know a place to regain strength that catches us on the way.

The squirrel's persistence amused him so much that he decided to go with it. As the days passed, the bond between them strengthened to such a point that the squirrel became a fundamental support for Guille. The anecdotes he told made the hours of walking more enjoyable, and sometimes they even managed to make him laugh.

The path they were traveling made its way between enormous trees whose crowns intertwined above their heads, thus preventing sunlight from passing through. In another section there was a stream so deep and dangerous that to cross it they needed to build a small raft.

There were times when it was so difficult to continue that they could only advance a few meters. However, Guille faced all these challenges with courage and determination, demonstrating once again his great courage and fighting spirit. On the nights when he felt saddest, Guille thought frustratedly about how easy the path before the battle had been for him.

When he became a warrior, Guille knew that the suit was essential to fight and win. The spacesuit protects and has the necessary weapons to combat the enemy, but it carries with it one condition: once put on, it cannot be taken off. The weight of the suit will accompany the warrior for life.

He couldn't run like before, that was perhaps what hurt him the most. It was also true that while the battle lasted, life on the planet had continued its course. The squirrel tried to update him on all the news, but there was so much information that Guille sometimes did not recognize the world he had before his eyes. And so, after the long journey, he arrived home.

Hugging his loved ones again made it all worth it. Guille thanked the squirrel for the affection with which it had accompanied him all the way and as a token, he invited it to stay in the leafiest oak tree in his garden.

Guille felt strong enough to begin this new stage in which he hoped he would be able to take the reins of his life. He knew that he would have to get used to the limitations of wearing the suit, but now he was able to visualize, with the enthusiasm that had helped him recover the squirrel, everything he had left to do. He realized that life continued and that anything was possible, he was determined to be happy. Every day was a new opportunity that I planned to live to the fullest.
